Voluntary Services Team

Our team recruit, train and manage our volunteer help force that enhance and support Trust services.

We are very lucky to have a fantastic team of volunteers at Humber. Our volunteers work hard to improve the services we offer and enrich the lives of Humber patients and service users. We encourage volunteers to join us from all groups and communities.

All potential new volunteers will complete a DBS check and Occupational Health assessment, as well as NHS online volunteer training. For more information on the checks, training and FAQ’s please see the attachment below.

If you would like to discuss the possibility of recruiting a regular volunteer to your team or if you have a one-off request for volunteers, please email hnf-tr.voluntaryservices@nhs.net

If you know someone interested in volunteering, please suggest they look at our website to see the current volunteering opportunities available in their area Volunteering (humber.nhs.uk)

Please note - Volunteers do not have employment contracts, therefore in the event of a breach or incident by a volunteer they are not subject to the same T&C’s, policies and procedures as someone who is employed.

We hope you will find all the information you need on this page. If you have any questions please do drop us an email at hnf-tr.voluntaryservices@nhs.net
